Job summary

Saint Anthony Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Risk Coordinator to provide administrative, operational, and analytical support to the Director of Risk Management & Claims. This fast-paced role serves as the first point of contact for risk-related inquiries and assists with tracking risk data and renewal documentation.

The position requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with leadership and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of risk/claims management or related experience.
• Healthcare or hospital insurance experience preferred.
• Proficiency with OSHA reporting and claims systems preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Risk and Claims Management with day-to-day risk and insurance management activities and administrative needs.
• Serve as an initial point of contact for risk-related calls, inquiries, and notifications.
• Receive and document calls and messages, obtain pertinent information, and promptly elevate urgent or high-risk matters to the Director of Risk and Claims Management or appropriate leader.
• Track risk and insurance related data, deadlines, trends, and open items.
• Complete OSHA 300 form weekly in a timely manner.
• Assist with identifying recurring issues, potential risks and communicates concerns appropriately.
• Assist with insurance related documentation.
• Assist with insurance renewal, completion of insurance applications and supporting documentation.
• Assist with the development of risk training materials.
• Maintains risk and insurance files on legal/risk internal drive.
