Job summary

Open Health Care Clinic seeks a Risk Management Coordinator to support organization-wide risk and patient safety programs. You will coordinate emergency preparedness activities, educate staff, review policies, manage incident reporting, and support a just safety culture across clinical and administrative areas.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Clinical Leadership, and Facilities to strengthen readiness, track corrective actions, and ensure safe care for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in clinical operations, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, staff education, or healthcare quality management.
• Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), ambulatory care, or community health setting preferred.
• Experience with HRSA, FTCA, accreditation, or regulatory readiness activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency preparedness training and exercise schedules across locations.
• Plan, conduct, and document emergency drills and actual event responses with leadership and facilities.
• Maintain drill documentation, participant records, and supporting evidence for reviews.
• Facilitate after-action reviews and track corrective actions to closure.
• Coordinate review of risk management, patient safety, and environment-of-care policies.
