Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Risk Management Manager to design and oversee the risk management program, protect patients and staff, and partner with safety and quality teams.

The role requires nursing or healthcare background, certifications preferred (ARM/CPHRM), and at least five years of clinical or management experience with at least two years in risk management. The position is full-time, on-site, with day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or healthcare related field preferred.
• Fellow or Diplomat of ASHRM ARM or CPHRM certification preferred.
• Five years clinical/management experience in multidisciplinary healthcare; two years in risk management in acute care preferred.
• Experience in risk management and/or professional liability claims management preferred.
• Knowledge of current state laws and regulations applicable to facilities.

Responsabilités

• Design, organize, coordinate, and implement Risk Management Program to minimize loss and protect assets.
• Assist with claims investigation, management, and litigation.
• Facilitate reporting of safety data/events and trend analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution.
• Oversee grievance process and implement risk-reduction initiatives.
