Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling systems; desk/appointment or secretarial experience preferred
• Experience with Epic RC/EMR system preferred; HFMA Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• The Registration Representative is responsible for accurate check-in/admissions/registration of incoming patients in the hospital or ED setting. Activities may involve in-person, phone, or virtual registrations; verify demographics; collect insurance data; create accounts; obtain signatures and required forms; assist patients with self-registration; collect co-payments/share of cost; ensure patient safety with positive identification protocols.
