Job summary

BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital - National Harborside in Washington, DC seeks Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide direct and indirect patient care for medically complex cases. You will develop care plans with patients and families, and participate in discharge planning with the care team.

Requirements include a BSN or ADN from an accredited program, DC RN license with BLS & ACLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience; ventilator/ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN must be a graduate of an accredited BSN or ADN program.
• Current RN license for District of Columbia; BLS and ACLS required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; Ventilator/Telemetry/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.

Shifts Available: Days 7a-730p

FT/PT Rate of Pay: $40.00 to $56.78 (plus Shift Diffs as applicable)

PRN/Per Diem Rate of Pay: $50 (plus Shift Diffs as applicable)

What You’ll Be Doing

Here at BridgePoint the Registered Nurse RN provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. The Registered Nurse RN develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. The Registered Nurse RN communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate and participates in the discharge planning process.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing program.
• Licenses/Certification: Current RN - Registered Nurse license from the District of Columbia. BLS & ACLS Required.
• Experience: Minimum one (1) year's recent nursing experience in a healthcare preferred. Ventilator, Telemetry, and/or ICU experience is preferred.
