Job summary

BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital – WJMC Campus in Marrero, LA is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver high-quality care for medically complex patients. The RN will plan and provide direct and indirect patient care, collaborate with families and the care team, and participate in discharge planning.

Requirements include a BSN or ADN from an accredited program, current RN license with BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing Program.
• Current RN license and BLS/ACLS required.

What You’ll Be Doing:

The Registered Nurse RN provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. The Registered Nurse RN develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. The Registered Nurse RN communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate and participates in the discharge planning process.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing Program.

Licenses/Certification: Current RN - Registered Nurse license from the Department of Health required. BLS & ACLS Required.

Experience: Minimum one (1) year's recent nursing experience preferred. Ventilator, Telemetry, and/or ICU experience preferred.
