Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management.
• Registered Dietitian with CDRE/CDR certification within 6 months.
• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification by start date (state dependent).
• Demonstrated leadership of diverse teams and strong communication skills.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and scheduling tools.
• Experience in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of patient meal services.
• Partners with nursing to educate patients and meet dietary guidelines.
• Leads patient meal areas and trains in therapeutic diets.
• Coordinates with caregivers to ensure provider orders are followed.
• Implements clinical best practices to deliver care cost-effectively.
• Provides value-based leadership for high-functioning teams.
• Manages hiring, training and performance evaluations.
• Ensures food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors quality and patient satisfaction scores and drives results.
• Collaborates with clinical teams on diet orders and concerns.
