Qualifications

• BLS Basic Life Support – within 6 months of hire.
• 1–2 years in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients, visitors, and staff; patrol grounds and address safety hazards.
• Deterrence of criminal activity through routine patrols of hospital property.
• Enforce hospital policies (parking, visitation, drugs, and tobacco).
• Monitor CCTV for escalating situations requiring intervention.
• Document all duties with daily logs and incident reports.
