Job summary

CHG Medical Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Hospital Privilege Coordinator to manage hospital privileging and credentialing applications for providers assigned to assignments requiring privileges.

The role involves coordinating with client and provider representatives, verifying education and work history, and ensuring timely completion of credentialing packages while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Qualifications

  • 2 years work experience in an administrative and/or customer service position.
  • Experience in healthcare or staffing industries.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange hospital privileges and credentialing for providers according to client(s) medical staff rules and regulations or bylaws
  • Assist clients in getting all documents needed to process the hospital privilege/credentialing application including verifications of education, work experience, references, and all facility required supporting documents prior to the start of an assignment
  • Coordinate with client representatives, provider representatives and providers to obtain client’s required documentation
  • Responsible for completing all credentialing necessary to privilege providers at worksites
  • Responsible for setting up medical services and background checks including fingerprint services based on facility requirements
  • Communicate with sales staff on the status and outcome of provider applications
  • Provide direct support when necessary to the Credentialing Manager and other credentialing specialists
  • Display a sense of urgency while remaining organized and paying attention to detail
  • Work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Process a large amount of documentation in a timely and professional manner
  • Prioritize and organize tasks effectively and independently

The Hospital Privilege team processes privileging/credentialing applications and all pre-employment supporting documents for CompHealth providers who have been accepted to assignments where hospital privileges and/or credentials are necessary.

The hospital privilege coordinator position tracks applications from providers to medical staff offices and assists in the verification processes required by hospitals where the provider must be privileged.

This is done in accordance with CHG Healthcare Services corporate credentialing and privileging policies and procedures.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $49,920 -- $72,592 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
