Job summary

Valley Children’s Healthcare seeks a skilled Plant Services technician to maintain central plant equipment, electrical distribution, standby generators, and water systems. You’ll also manage HVAC, lighting, medical gases, pneumatic tubes, and the building management system.

Qualifications

• Education: 2-year degree or equivalent experience in related discipline.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in building maintenance with relevant skills.
• Experience with refrigeration, electrical systems, HVAC and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain central plant equipment including electrical distribution, standby generators and water systems.
• Service HVAC systems, lighting, medical gas and pneumatic tube systems.
• Ensure life-safety components, fire alarms, extinguishing systems and drills are maintained.
• Support shift work and occasional weekends as needed.
