Beth Israel Lahey Health in Plymouth, MN is seeking a part-time patient transport associate for day shifts with an 8:00 am to 4:30 pm schedule and weekend/holiday rotation. The role focuses on transporting patients, documenting trips, and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure safe departures and arrivals.

Responsibilities include assisting patients in/out of beds and wheelchairs, using the Hospital Throughput program, and maintaining equipment cleanliness. CPR/BLS is required.

Competenze

• On-the-job training provided.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Mansioni

• Transport patients to and from care areas and assist with boarding and disembarking.
• Document patient trips using Hospital Throughput computer program.
• Communicate with patients and the nursing staff about departure times.
• Safely park beds, stretchers and wheelchairs and assist with patient movement as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient equipment and report equipment issues.
