Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Transporter in Plymouth, MA. The role involves documenting patient trips, transporting patients between departments, and assisting with transfers and patient preparation for departure.

You will coordinate with nursing staff and adhere to safety protocols throughout shifts, including weekends and holidays. The role requires basic computer skills, prior customer service experience, and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• On the job training is provided.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document patient trips using Hospital Throughput system.
• Transport patients to and from care areas and assist entering/exiting beds or chairs.
• Assist patients onto/off stretchers and help staff with transfers.
• Obtain Nurse signature on the Ticket to Ride and coordinate with receiving departments.
• Keep patient equipment clean and report equipment issues to Manager.
