Responsibilities

• Document patient trip via Hospital Throughput computer program.
• Transport patients to and from care areas and assist with transfers.
• Assist patients in and out of bed, wheelchair, or stretcher.
• Communicate with patients, R.N. and receiving departments regarding arrivals and departures.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient equipment and report equipment issues.
