Qualifications

• One year of applicable clinical lab work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated experience using a computer, including data entry and retrieval.
• Ability to work weekends, and rotating shifts including evenings, nights and holidays.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provides a supportive link between UCI customers both internal and external, facilitates communications by effectively navigating computer and phone systems, builds and maintains customer relationships while providing a positive, professional and empathetic understanding to all customers.
• Main duties include phone calls, computer data entry, and printing/delivering lab reports. Reviews lab requisitions and performs quality review and troubleshooting.
