Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Patient Flow Manager to lead a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters in a hospital setting. The role focuses on dispatch coordination, process improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance within healthcare operations.

The position requires management experience in a hospital environment, strong analytical skills, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Management experience in hospital environment and/or patient transportation.
• Analytical ability to interpret statistical data and trends.
• Basic computer skills with Windows OS; troubleshoot system problems.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters.
• Apply knowledge of patient transport concepts and infection control; supervise dispatcher activity.
• Coordinate Patient Transportation activities with other departments and develop service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies including Federal, State, JCAHO, OSHA, and CDC.
• Orient, train, and develop dispatchers, trainers, transporters, couriers, drivers, and elevator operators.
• Assist unit director in achieving financial objectives and managing budget; help control expenses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
