Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for a full-time role at Bon Secours St Francis Hospital in Charleston, SC. You will help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualified candidates should have strong English reading/writing, basic computer skills, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Training is provided, and prior dining or healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing for nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals according to patient menus and deliver them on time.
• Maintain HACCP guidelines and comply with HIPAA and safety policies.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on different diets as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
