Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) in Charleston, SC. Full-time shifts run 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with weekends required; online applications are accepted. Previous food service and customer service experience is preferred, and training is provided to new hires.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing for nutrition.
• Collaborate with culinary team on menu alternatives for allergies or preferences.
• Assemble meals, manage tray tickets and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Adhere to HIPAA, HACCP and sanitation policies.
• Follow infection control procedures and communicate issues promptly.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
