Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Part Time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Roper St Francis Hospital in Charleston, SC. Work 3:00 pm–7:00 pm, with flexible days. Prior patient services or food service experience is preferred but not required.

Salary ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. Full-time and part-time benefits apply; applies to the Morrison Healthcare team dedicated to nourishing patients with care and quality in every meal.

Competenze

• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Mansioni

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient menu selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with federal/state/JCAHO standards and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Support infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted diets.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
