Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at McLeod Loris, SC. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and work closely with nursing and dietary teams to meet nutritional needs in a hospital setting.

The role requires basic English literacy and computer skills, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and patient satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site position with rotating weekends and variable hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret English documents.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills required.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds and move food deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutrition requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to accommodate allergies, preferences and cultural needs.
• Assemble and deliver meals accurately and on time; manage tray tickets and pickup at patient rooms.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and sanitation procedures; ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
