Qualifikationen

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver food delivery carts.

Aufgaben

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies, preferences, and dietary needs.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly, retrieving trays from patient rooms as scheduled.
• Comply with regulatory standards (federal/state/JCAHO) and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation; maintain cleanliness of work stations.
• Support infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted diets or calorie-controlled plans.
• Communicate issues to appropriate staff promptly and document interactions as required.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations and perform other duties as assigned.
