Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for full-time and part-time positions in Marion, VA. 12-hour shifts from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm; weekends and holidays may rotate. Prior food service experience preferred.

Background check and drug screening are required after offer. Daily tasks include meal assembly, tray delivery, and patient safety. Phased into a caregiving team, you will ensure meals are accurate, delivered on time, and meet

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies and preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays.
• Follow HIPAA confidentiality policies and health regulations.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines in food handling and sanitation.
• Report issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
