Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for full time and part time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) roles at Ballad Health in Marion, VA. You will help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accuracy and safety.

This role requires food service experience, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and compliance with HIPAA and HACCP. The schedule features 12-hour shifts of 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, rotating weekends; online applications

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience required.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Maintain HACCP guidelines and sanitation standards in the tray line and work stations.
• Communicate patient concerns to appropriate personnel and ensure timely reporting.
