Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for part-time shifts at UVA Health Prince William, 8700 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20110. Online applications accepted.

The role involves helping patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of service. Training is provided, uniforms are supplied, and meals are available at a reduced cost. Rotate weekends; pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies or preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
• Comply with regulatory standards, HIPAA policies, and sanitation guidelines.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Adhere to health regulations and perform other duties as assigned.
