Job summary

Hunter Animal Hospital is seeking a results-driven Hospital Manager to lead our expanding team. You will work with the Managing Veterinarian to ensure efficient and profitable hospital operations, drive revenue, manage costs, and foster a culture of exceptional patient care and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting in positions of increased responsibility is a plus

Responsibilities

• Complete ownership of P&L, accountable for the hospital's performance
• Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast the hospital's needs
• Manage accounts receivable
• Oversee hospital inventory and control facility and administrative costs
• Manage payroll for hospital staff
• Develop the hospital schedule and manage labor costs
• Champion change and identify, document, share, and promote best practices
• Lead the hospital team to enhance processes and workflows, covering client service, operations, and administrative tasks
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Establish and drive the culture of the hospital
• Track and maintain current licensures for all DVMs
• Provide feedback and handle challenging conversations
• Demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of client service
