Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist II in Hackensack, NJ for a hospital-based role at HUMC. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with rotational weekend/holiday coverage, and offers a pay range of $32.00–$50.73 per hour.

Competenze

• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology or an Associates degree in Laboratory Science/Medical Technology.
• ASCP certification is preferred.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is expected.

Mansioni

• Perform and report on assigned analytical tests following SOPs.
• Troubleshoot instruments and procedures; support quality control.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and documentation for patient results.
• Enter test results into the Laboratory Information System.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety requirements.
• Assist with training of laboratory personnel when needed.
