Job summary

Greenlight Pet ER in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a hands-on leader to guide our floor operations, teams, and client experience. You’ll be on the floor with technicians, front desk staff, and doctors, setting the tone for every shift while handling routine admin with real support.

You’ll develop your team through coaching and 1:1s, own the client journey from arrival to discharge, and turn feedback into improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading teams in veterinary, healthcare, or high-tempo service.
• Proven people leadership without drama.
• Service mindset toward clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible, hands-on leader on the floor, supporting technicians, front desk staff, and doctors during peak hours and critical cases.
• Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, respect, and calm under pressure.
• Develop your team through 1:1s, coaching, and recognition.
• Own the client experience from arrival to discharge, and personally handle escalations with empathy.
• Turn client feedback into concrete improvements with your team.
• Support HR in hiring and lead each new hire’s onboarding at the hospital.
• Support payroll by reviewing and approving timecards.
• Approve schedules and coverage, and hold standards for cleanliness, readiness, and compliance.
• Partner with the Medical Director on clinical operations and with Finance on hospital results.

The role
