Job summary

Greenlight Pet ER in Florida is seeking an on-site operations leader to guide the team and enhance the client and patient experience. You’ll be on the floor, supporting technicians, front desk staff, and doctors, while delegating routine admin work to free you for coaching and relationship-building.

You’ll own the client journey from arrival to discharge, manage escalations with empathy, and drive improvements through feedback. A 24/7 schedule and strong KPI focus are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading teams in a veterinary, healthcare, or high-tempo service operation.
• Proven people leadership: develop people and uphold standards without drama.
• Service mindset toward clients and staff.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Comfort with KPIs and basic P&L literacy.
• Ability to thrive in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible, hands-on leader on the floor, supporting technicians, front desk staff, and doctors, especially during peak hours and critical cases.
• Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, respect, and calm under pressure.
• Develop your team through 1:1s, coaching, and recognition.
• Own the client experience from arrival to discharge, and handle escalations with empathy.
• Turn client feedback into concrete improvements with your team.
• Support HR in hiring and lead onboarding for new hires.
• Support payroll by reviewing and approving timecards.
• Approve schedules and coverage, and uphold cleanliness, readiness, and compliance.
• Partner with the Medical Director on clinical operations and with Finance on hospital results.
