Job summary

Stonecrest Animal Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Associate Hospital Manager to lead daily operations and support the Hospital Manager and Managing Veterinarian. The role emphasizes staff coaching, workflow optimization, and superior client service in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.

You will help drive operational excellence, financial performance, and high-quality patient care while maintaining a hands-on leadership presence on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in customer-service oriented environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with scheduling, labor management, budgeting, and day-to-day operations.
• Proven ability to coach teams, build relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Hospital Manager to support daily hospital operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Assist with employee scheduling and labor management to meet operational and financial goals.
• Help establish and monitor hospital goals, key performance metrics, and team objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement by supporting new initiatives and sharing best practices.
• Oversee policies including OSHA and DEA compliance and coordinate with IT for system issues.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Provide ongoing coaching, recognition, and daily support to employees.
• Help manage accounts receivable, cash handling, and invoice accuracy.
