Job summary
University Behavioral Health of Denton is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and preventive maintenance across our campus, with minimal supervision. This role supports a safe, well-maintained environment for patients and staff in a private psychiatric hospital serving North Texas since 2005.
The position also includes transporting patients to and from the facility to provide observation and role modeling, alongside routine janitorial
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
- Experience with hand/power tools and basic building maintenance.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and knowledge of physical plant operations.

Responsibilities
- Perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, inspections, and preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
- Provide patient transportation to and from the facility, maintaining safety and supervision as needed.
