Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the safe, efficient operation of the behavioral healthcare facility. You will handle preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, grounds upkeep, and equipment servicing in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate is hands-on and safety-conscious, with skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and equipment repair, plus a commitment to patient and staff safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Previous maintenance experience in a hospital or healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work involving painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC equipment, and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct facility inspections and routine testing of equipment and building systems.
• Clean and replace air filters per preventive maintenance program.
• Dispose of infectious and contaminated waste per safety guidelines.
• Maintain facility grounds in a clean, safe, professional manner.
• Repair and maintain lighting systems, including bulbs and fixtures.
