Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Hospital Liaison to work at assigned hospital sites, providing DME and respiratory products and services to support patient discharge and care teams. You will educate case managers and physicians on oxygen portability devices, nebulizers, and related equipment, while coordinating paperwork, Medicare guidance, and billing readiness to ensure smooth service delivery.

Daily rounds to engage with case managers, scheduling home equipment setups, and addressing referrals help

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with patients, physicians, and hospital staff.
• Knowledge of Medicare coverage guidelines and CMNs.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new referral sources.
• Prepare for and participate in trade shows, exhibits, and advertising campaigns.
• Conduct in-service for referral sources and case managers on equipment usage.
• Resolve complaints from referral sources with management.
• Explain Medicare procedures, pricing, and product information to referral sources.
• Assist with paperwork and billing readiness by obtaining prescriptions from physicians.
• Visit case managers daily to promote equipment and services.
• Coordinate with the center to schedule home equipment setup.
• Explain coverage criteria to case managers and patients.
• Complete setup paperwork daily for delivered equipment.
• Assist with CMNs and chart notes for billing.
