Job summary

Lincare Holdings in the United States seeks a Liaison to interact daily with hospital case managers at facilities to deliver and set up O2 portability, nebulizers, and small DME items for patient discharge.

You will educate on insurance criteria and documentation, assist with CMNs and chart notes, and ensure smooth discharge processes. Responsibilities include stocking vehicles, rounds to contact case managers, coordinating with centers for home setup, and maintaining paperwork.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with patients, physicians, and hospital staff daily
• Knowledge of Medicare coverage guidelines and CMNs
• Read and interpret safety and maintenance documents
• Write routine reports and correspondence
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
• Perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure
• Interpret data and charts, such as bar graphs
• Follow written or diagrammed instructions
• Handle problems with multiple concrete variables

Responsibilities

• Stock vehicle daily with necessary equipment, disposables, patient setup paperwork and marketing literature needed for that day
• Make rounds to contact all case managers each day at each facility assigned to them to let them know they are at the facility should case managers identify a patient discharge equipment need
• Communicate with center throughout the day on O2 discharges so that center can schedule SR to complete home set up of equipment
• Understand and communicate coverage criteria to case managers and patients as applicable
• Complete setup paperwork daily for all equipment delivered
• Assist with getting CMNs and chart notes as requested by center daily required for billin
