Job summary

Lincare Holdings seeks a Liaison to work with hospital case managers to deliver and set up O2 portability, nebulizers, and small DME at discharge. You will educate on insurance criteria, documentation, and available programs to support patient discharge from facilities.

Daily duties include stocking vehicles, contacting case managers, scheduling home setups, completing paperwork, and gathering CMNs for billing. Strong communication and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for daily hospital engagement.

Responsibilities

• Stock vehicle daily with necessary equipment and paperwork for the day.
• Make rounds to contact case managers at each facility to note discharges.
• Coordinate with centers to schedule home setup of equipment for discharge.
• Explain Medicare coverage criteria to case managers and patients as applicable.
• Complete setup paperwork daily for all equipment delivered.
• Assist with obtaining CMNs and chart notes for billing.
• Communicate with hospital staff daily regarding patient discharge equipment needs.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Perform basic arithmetic for measurements and billing figures.
• Draw and interpret bar graphs as needed.
• Apply instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
