Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. seeks a Liaison to interact daily with hospital case managers to deliver and set up O2 portability, nebulizers, and small DME for patient discharge. You will educate on insurance criteria and documentation, equipment, and programs benefiting patients to facilitate discharge.

You will stock vehicles, coordinate with centers on O2 discharges, and complete paperwork daily while ensuring accurate CMNs and notes for billing.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills necessary for daily interactions with patients, physicians, and hospital staff.
• Able to read and interpret Medicare coverage rules and documentation requirements.
• Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Comfortable speaking before groups of customers or employees.
• Adept at basic arithmetic including rates, ratios, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Stock vehicle daily with equipment, disposables, paperwork and literature.
• Make rounds to contact case managers at facilities for discharge equipment needs.
• Coordinate with centers on O2 discharges for home setup scheduling.
• Explain coverage criteria to case managers and patients as applicable.
• Complete setup paperwork daily for delivered equipment.
• Assist with obtaining CMNs and chart notes for billing as requested.
