Trinity Health Michigan is seeking a full-time cook to prepare, season, and cook meals for patients, staff, and visitors. You will oversee culinary staff, work from menus and recipes, and ensure food quality and timely service in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred and able to read and write English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Experience in food production in an institutional setting is preferred (2–3 years).

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus and production schedules to determine quantities of meats, vegetables, soups, and salads.
• Measures and weighs ingredients for hot and cold items per recipes.
• Ensures items are prepared on time for meals and ready for assigned mealtimes.
• Monitors inventory and adjusts production to avoid shortages or surpluses.
• Oversees work of kitchen staff and ensures sanitation and proper storage of foods.
