Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital is seeking a Part-time Information Desk Associate to support patient and visitor services on shift. You will issue passes, greet visitors, assist with directions, and coordinate volunteer activities within the Volunteer Services Department.

The role requires a High School diploma, strong customer service, and computer skills. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required, with a schedule including Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday hours and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills expected.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks and typing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the information desk during assigned shift and manage passes for patients, visitors, and regulatory visits.
• Greet visitors, locate patient rooms on the computer, and provide directions and assistance.
• Register and deliver flowers as needed and answer phones with clear guidance.
• Assist with volunteer relations and coordinate communication for Volunteer Services during shifts.
