Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a Guest Services associate to join the team full-time. This position is 40 hours per week with two 12-hour shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays and two 8-hour shifts on weekends, providing top-notch hospitality and information to patients and visitors.

Respondents will greet guests, answer questions, help with directions and transportation needs, verify visitor IDs, and coordinate parking and services while maintaining a safe hospital

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years experience in a customer service position, preferably in a medical field
• Bilingual, especially Spanish-speaking, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome every individual, delivering excellent customer service.
• Answer questions about the hospital and directions; meet visitor requests.
• Obtain authorization before visitors proceed to their destination per protocol.
• Ensure transportation equipment availability (wheelchairs, walkers) when needed.
• Provide patient/test information, wayfinding, and visiting details.
• Enforce visitor restrictions using BOLOs and safety procedures.
• Coordinate transportation, parking, and services for visitors.
• Assist with special programs and volunteer assignments for guest services.
