Intermountain Hospital in Boise is seeking a friendly Receptionist to greet patients, visitors and staff at the front desk. You will handle check-ins, switchboard calls, deliveries, and mail, while maintaining lobby areas and assisting with clerical tasks. The role supports accurate admissions data entry and patient flow.

The position is part of a dedicated care team in a psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment setting, with opportunities to contribute to a compassionate patient experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: Two (2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a health care environment.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, visitors and staff at the front desk.
• Assist visitors and check in patients for assessment.
• Answer the switchboard and route calls appropriately.
• Maintain the facility census book and accept/direct deliveries.
• Process mail and provide clerical support as requested.
• Keep A&R forms stocked and lobby/triage areas tidy.
• Enter admissions, A&R calls, discharges and transfers in data systems.
