Qualifications

• Directs daily operations of multi-functional food service operations to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform jobs, meet goals and deadlines.
• Assists in cash controls and payroll functions (time sheets, records, schedules).
• Maintains compliance with federal, state and local regulations, hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations of multi-functional food service operations to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform jobs, meet goals and deadlines.
• Assists in cash controls and payroll functions (time sheets, records, schedules).
• Probes potential problems and apprises leader of status on resolution, using appropriate resources.
• Supervises day-to-day work activities by delegating authority and prioritizing tasks.
• Provides feedback to employees to reward, coach, correct and motivate.
• Ensures safety, quality and regulatory standards are met across departments.
• Maintains safe work environment with safety training and equipment upkeep.
• Establishes operating standards and communicates quality improvements.
• Maintains employee relationships and satisfaction for multi-functional areas.
• Ensures delivery of high-quality service and care.
• Supports workplace diversity initiatives.
