Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to direct daily operations across Cafeteria and retail areas. You will ensure proper equipment, inventory and resources, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED with two years of supervisory experience; Serv Safe certification is required and an Associate's degree is preferred. This is a full-time role with benefits, offering a competitive pay range.

Responsabilités

• Direct daily operations of multi-functional food service to ensure adequate equipment, inventory and staff.
• Assist in cash controls and payroll-related tasks (time sheets, schedules).
• Escalate issues and inform leadership about resolution status using appropriate resources.
• Supervise day-to-day activities, delegate, prioritize and monitor standards.
• Provide positive, constructive feedback to employees to coach and motivate.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and hospital policies.
• Establish a safe work environment and conduct safety training and equipment maintenance.
• Set operating standards, implement quality improvements and communicate them.
• Develop strong employee relationships and maintain satisfaction across departments.
• Execute high-quality service delivery and support diversity initiatives.
