Zusammenfassung

AdventHealth seeks a financial services specialist to set payment arrangements, adjust patient accounts, and coordinate with hospital staff to ensure accurate financial assessments. Experience in medical billing and patient outreach is preferred.

The role supports pre-access, patient access, case management, and insurance reimbursement teams. Strong knowledge of Medicaid and billing procedures is desirable, with CPC/ROCC preferred credentials.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to serve as hospital liaison for patient and family
• Proficiency in basic math and in English communication
• Knowledge of Medicaid/County programs and billing processes

Aufgaben

• Sets payment arrangements with uninsured/underinsured patients and physicians
• Reviews accounts and proposes transfers to collections
• Performs monthly/quarterly reconciliations with physician offices
• Prepares contracts for patients and supports discharge planning with staff
• Maintains knowledge of Medicaid and county programs and bill tracking
