Job summary

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience in a financial, business office, or customer service environment.
• Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office-based products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Typing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary customer service and meets department goals.
• Gathers and inputs patient/guarantor demographic and financial information accurately.
• Verifies benefits and obtains necessary authorizations; contacts payers as needed.
• Performs departmental cashiering functions and processes point of service transactions.
• Maintains knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes and documents in registration systems.
