Job summary

ClearSky Health in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair hospital buildings, grounds, and equipment under the Director of Facilities. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks, and support preventative maintenance programs to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in building systems and a healthcare setting preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 2 years direct maintenance experience.
• Experience in preventative maintenance, equipment and systems repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or construction.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Licensure in electrical, plumbing or HVAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine facility maintenance, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Performs regularly scheduled safety checks, inspections, and walk-throughs.
• Performs groundskeeping duties.
• Responds to and completes work orders and records completion of work performed.
• Identifies and communicates potential issues to the Director of Facilities promptly.
• Follows building preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
• Participates in developing departmental safety procedures.
• Maintains records for regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal agencies.
• May work during inclement weather or staffing emergencies.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Maintains regular attendance and completes required trainings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
