Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for the Children\'s Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR) in Richmond, VA. The role is first shift, 7am to 3:30pm, with a salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 and a $1,000 yearly supervisor bonus potential.

You will oversee maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems, supervise staff, plan schedules, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least five years of maintenance experience, including supervisory experience.
• Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
• Perform or supervise work necessary to inspect, maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and special systems.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.
• Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Trains maintenance department staff.
• Handles discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
