Qualifications

City of Tacoma Engineer License II may be required depending on location.
Minimum four years' experience in building mechanical/electrical operations and maintenance.
Experience with steam, HVAC, and basic electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee safe and efficient operation of boilers, HVAC, air compressors, pumps, generators and related equipment.
Maintain regulatory compliance across hospital infrastructure.
Monitor and assign work orders to ensure timely completion.
Perform rounds of boiler rooms, steam distribution and machine rooms.
Inspect roof areas as part of routine operations.
