Job summary

Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center is seeking a Plant Operations Clerk to provide administrative support under the Director of Plant Operations. The role includes coordinating service, repairs and preventive maintenance for hospital equipment and learning the CMMS to generate work orders and reports.

You will procure materials, secure vendor pricing, process invoices and maintain records of maintenance and vendors while handling multiple priorities under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must have one year of clerical experience, six months in a support role.
• Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use office equipment such as terminals, phones, copiers, fax machines.
• Must be highly organized.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining order.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support in the Plant Operations department.
• Procure, coordinate and follow up for service, repairs and preventive maintenance on hospital equipment.
• Learn and maintain the computerized maintenance management system; generate work orders, assign work orders and generate reports.
• Procure materials, equipment and parts; secure pricing, obtain authorizations, place orders with vendors and process invoices.
• Retain records of preventive maintenance, service, repairs and vendors.
• Perform duties under pressure and maintain a good attitude.
