Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning of restrooms and patient rooms following protocol for regular, terminal, and isolation cleaning.
• Follows infection prevention protocols and selects appropriate cleaning chemicals.
• Cleans walls, doors, glass, furniture, floors with mopping and detailing.
• Manages waste types and ensures proper liners and disposal per protocol.
• Uses PPE and proper lifting techniques to ensure safety.
• Complies with hospital policies and uses UV light equipment safely.
• Documents assignments and uses Epic to manage bed and patient flow.
