Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaking, reading and writing required.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills valued in a hospital setting.
• Completion of departmental training within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs restroom and patient room cleaning following hospital protocols and location-specific requirements.
• Handles waste types (bio-waste, solid waste, chemotherapy waste) using proper PPE and techniques.
• Maintains infection prevention practices and uses UV light equipment as required.
• Provides courteous customer service to staff, patients and visitors, promoting World Class Service.
• Documents daily assignments and uses the Epic system to manage bed and patient flow.
