Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Fluent English with ability to read, write and understand simple instructions.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Completion of departmental training within 30 days of employment; certifications as required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of restroom and patient room cleaning following protocol.
• Handle waste, recyclables and regulated materials safely and in compliance with guidelines.
• Use PPE correctly and follow lifting techniques for safety.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Operate and document tasks in the Epic system to manage bed and patient flow.
• Participate in performance improvement projects and support the hospital vision.
