Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an Evening Housekeeper – Environmental Services Technician to support patient care units and hospital areas. This full-time role runs 6:00pm–2:30am, emphasizing infection prevention, waste handling, and impeccable room cleaning.

You will use PPE correctly, follow safety protocols, and interact with staff, patients, and families with outstanding service. Training is provided and benefits are generous.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand simple English instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Some experience in housekeeping or environmental services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of hospital cleaning in patient rooms, restrooms, and corridors.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and use proper chemicals.
• Operate PPE correctly and apply safe lifting techniques to protect self and others.
• Use the Epic system to document daily assignments and bed/patient flow.
• Ensure proper waste handling and comply with hospital policies.
